Beautiful Dreamer

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 24, 2009:

When I was a child the song I loved the most was Beautiful Dreamer. The lyrics and music alsos brought a sense of comfort over me so I fell in love with it very young.

I liked this one too.  It is a very pretty and soothing song.  My sister and I used to try to sing this one.

I never fully knew the words most of my childhood but I would always hum the tune as often as I could.

We have all fake sung with whatever words came to us.  I remember singing God Save the King, when I was 5 years old.
“sent him victorious, happy and glorious” became:

santam victorium, happy and glorium.
